Concert “Seeing off the old year”

Choir of the Family Center for the evolutions of voice “Nova Voce”

Nova Voce Choir (Moscow, Russia) is a quite young group. The Choir was founded by Natalia Silantieva in January of 2014.

Natalia Silantieva is the art director of the Choir. She is a musician and a teacher of the highest qualification, graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin with honours. She acted as a chief conductor of the girls’ choir at The Children’s Choir (Moscow, Russia) for 15 years. She is awarded acknowledgments from the Moscow State Department for Education. Over the years she organisied many music events. She has been working as a teacher of singing at the Creativity School since August of 2013.

Nova Voce Choir performs live a lot though it was founded not long ago. On April 28, 2014 the Choir performed during the concert devoted to the opening of the 13th International festival “Moscow Sounds” (at the Svetlanov Hall of Moscow International Performing Arts Center) and on the 1st of May the Choir participated in gala concert of this festival (at the Great Hall of Moscow State Conservatory named after P. Tchaikovsky).

The Choir participated in the 3rd Florence International Choir Festival in July, 2014 (Italy) and was awarded with special prize for the Best Contemporary Composer Arrangement.

In November – December of 2014 the Choir participated with great pleasure in Prague Advent Choral Meeting in Prague, then the Choir performed at some concerts in Vienna. After that the Choir took part in Competition of International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Bratislava and won two Bronze Diplomas.

The Choir members are not professional musicians but they are people of different types of occupation. Their love to music and choral singing brings them together. The Choir performs classical, folk and contemporary music.
